Fellowship Baptist Church was started in 1989 as a mission church under Pastor Leon Leeds, Director of the Wisconsin Fellowship of Baptist Churches. The first services were held in the old Lodi High School in July, moving to the Bank of Poynette building in Harmony Grove in September of that year. The church was formally incorporated as Fellowship Baptist Church of Harmony Grove in May, 1990. Remodeling at the bank building forced the church to move and in April of 1993, the church held its first services at the Arlington Prairie Lutheran Church. The congregation met there until October, 1996, when the first services were held at the current location at N2738 County Road V in Harmony Grove in the Town of Lodi.
John Roth joined Fellowship Baptist as an assistant pastor in September, 1989, and was named Administrative Pastor in 1990 serving until January, 2006. Brother Dennis Komis served as interim pastor until March 18, 2007, when Eric Hafeli was named Administrative Pastor. Pastor Hafeli announced his retirement effective June 30, 2022. Andrew Lewis was named Administrative Pastor effective July 1, 2022. Pastor Lewis was led by circumstances (nothing improper or no dislike by anyone) to resign in May, 2023.
Fellowship Baptist Church is a conservative church that accepts the Bible as the infallible Word of God. People are eternally saved by the sovereign grace of God alone, by faith in Christ alone, through the power of the Holy Spirit. The church exists to glorify God in word and deed, and to build disciples of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God.
